Rival Foods was founded in 2019 by Birgit Dekkers and Ernst Breel with the mission to fill the culinary gap that persists in plant-based gastronomy. To help fill this gap Rival Foods is developing 100% plant-based culinary products. They are of the highest quality and fit seamlessly with existing protein preparation and cooking techniques.
Rival Foods products are created using a newly developed production process that provides an unparalleled fibrous texture, rich mouthfeel and high juiciness using minimal ingredients. Three classes of products can be created: ‘on land’, ‘at sea’ and ‘with wings’.
