At Rival Foods you have the ability to shape your future. You do this by spotting new opportunities in B2B plant-based protein markets and are able to transform opportunities into commercial company routinges. By combining insights, strong commercil capabilities and a thorough understanding of Rival Foods unique capabilities, you engage directly with potential customers and navigate your way through legal, strategic and commercial departments, ultimately leading to creating added value to Rival Foods and its customers. As business developer you enjoy to kick-start and accellerate the adoption of Rival Foods’ solutions in the Netherlands, Europe and world wide, one customer at a time.

Your profile:

  • Marketing- or business degree from University or similar education
  • 2-5 years experience in a business development/commercial role in the food sector
  • Strong communicative skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good listener
  • Excellent understanding of customer needs
  • Affinity with plant-based and alternative protein products

You:

  • Re-define the commercial strategy together with the management
  • Create insights in B2B plant-based food markets
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Rival Foods’ technology, products and processes
  • Translate market insights and Rival Foods’ capabilities into viable product-market combinations
  • Scout, approach and convert new B2B opportunities in B2B market segments
  • Travel to prospects and customers to better understand their needs
  • Help define the company‚Äôs customer propositions together with the management
  • Participate in product evaluation sessions and integrate outcomes in our value proposition
  • Develop The Rival Foods brand with a clear brand positioning and identity
  • Engage in conferences, trade shows and exhibitions to promote Rival Foods
  • Navigate legal, commmercial and strategic quests with prospects and achieve optimal outcomes
